Luxury, high-functional gym.
Background
We were introduced to this project early in the design phase and told that we needed to include our highest and best offerings. Once we were given the initial space to work with, we collaborated with the interior design team to pick a layout and programming that would deliver on the vision for this gym: a high-end, luxurious, high-functional workout space that would complement the other top-of-the-line amenities, including a rock climbing wall, a dual-lane bowling alley, a golf simulator, indoor/outdoor pools, a podcast studio, and more.
The Design
To elevate the gym to a luxury amenity, we chose the Palladium Series at TRUE Fitness for its full club-level strength machines and camel upholstery. The large functional fitness bridge also incorporates Olympic lifting stations to really define the high level of training possible here. Users of all levels can experience an effective and inviting workout.
The Challenge
The unique shape of the room required thoughtful consideration to ensure the room was inviting, effective, and safe for residents and guests. For example, meeting the requirements for rear clearance on the treadmills meant selling less equipment overall. No price can be put on health and safety!
Final Thoughts
This was a massive construction project that spanned several years, so there were several revisions and changes along the way that required us to collaborate with the construction and IT teams to ensure we had the proper data and power where we needed it in the room.
Ultimately, the installation took about three days to unload, assemble, and fine-tune. The feedback we have received along the way has been 100% positive, and we are currently working on another fitness center to go into this building in early 2026!
